Important update: Changes to Process for Enrolled Students that do not Commence by Program Deadline

Please be informed, effective as of semester 1 2024, there is an update regarding the process for students who have enrolled but have yet to commence their studies onshore by the designated program deadline.

Previous process: Students and agents were notified about the cancellation of their Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and were provided with instructions to visit the program enrolment cancellation webpage to personally manage their enrolment cancellation.

New process: Students and agents will receive notifications that their program enrolment and Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) have been cancelled. There's no need to visit the enrolment cancellation webpage. Instead, you will be notified about the option to apply for a deferral or request a refund, with links provided for both choices.
Orientation Week (O Week) at RMIT University

Orientation Week (O Week) happens the week before classes start, providing students with an opportunity to discover the full spectrum of experiences at RMIT University.

Throughout orientation, students gain critical insights into their programs and meet their teachers. Moreover, it's an ideal moment to acquaint themselves with campus facilities, forge new friendships, and partake in enjoyable social gatherings and activities. Orientation serves as a comprehensive introduction to RMIT's processes, academic programs, and the diverse opportunities available to students.

Scam Alert: Chinese International Students Scam

RMIT University wishes to highlight the presence of scams targeting Chinese international students, where scammers impersonate government or military officials to extort money. Victims are coerced into transferring funds abroad under false pretenses, leading to staged kidnappings or compromising recordings. If your students suspect fraud, we strongly encourage them to reach out to RMIT Safer Community service for guidance and assistance. Additionally, students are urged to report the scam to the Victoria Police by following the steps outlined in the image below.
